The government of Mexico has replaced the Tropical Storm Watch
along the Pacific coast of Mexico from Playa Perula to San Blas
with a Tropical Storm Warning. The government of Mexico has also
issued a Tropical Storm Watch from north of Mazatlan to Bahia
Tempehuaya.

But just think about it - the Eastern pacific has reached W in Tropical Storms or hurricanes this year.

(103,806 posts)if we have a warm winter, I can see hurricanes forming through part, at least, of the winter. I can see that hurricane season could end up lasting year round eventually.

(297,924 posts)We were watching the flooding in Trinidad on our news last night. The flooding was as high as 10ft in some areas - I have never seen anything like that inTrinidad.

#HurricaneWilla is expected to have peak winds almost at cat.5 and a hurricane warning is now in effect for San Blas to Mazatlan, including Las Islas Marias and surrounding areas can expect tropical storm conditions!
