Except, that marching right now can send many voters to support the Republicans. His approval rating has been the highest since the elections.

2. No. They are traveling in a large group for safety.

Migrants are very vulnerable to criminals or exploitation when traveling alone or in small groups. Migrants know there is strength and safety in numbers.

It is now late October, the weather is starting to cool, making crossing desert regions less dangerous. The timing has nothing to do with the midterms. They are fleeing hell, and doing it in the most survivable way possible under the circumstances.

There are no minds to be changed here in either direction. What will make the difference is a Democratic turnout in an off year election. This has not a fucking thing to do with Presidential politics - this is about local, state and Congressional elections.
