Don't fall into indifference

The Dalai Lama commented that we should not let non-attachment fall into indifference. Indifference is a form of ignorance and confusion towards what needs to be attended to. That is, the suffering and obstacles that people face to keep themselves and their families afloat in a reasonable and healthy way. Republicans are, at best, indifferent to the needs of working people. At worst, they knowingly lie and obfuscate their agenda of raking in money for themselves at any cost, in any manner, including criminality.

This week is early voting, all week. If you are registered to vote, do not allow yourself to fall into indifference. Don't believe anyone, who tells you that all politicians are the same, and your vote doesn't matter. Your vote matters greatly. We are not powerless. Please go vote.

1. Vote and do more.

Indifference is tempting... we saw 65 million votes thrown away in 2016 because I guess the states with the confederate statues matter more or something.

If the only thing we can do, or supposed to do, is vote, then I'm not saying don't vote, but it can be understandable why indifference might happen in the minds of some people.

We need to start resisting the tyranny of this regime on an everyday basis.

Step 1 is voting.
Step 2 is...

2. I would pin this to the top if I could

It's so important to remember that our vote is one of our most important sources of power that we have. There is so much awful news that I think it can feel tempting to blanket ourselves with indifference as a defense. But few of us can afford that privilege. Your words are encouraging and so needed right now.
