Election AD ideas to GOTV / Elect Dems
I've been obsessing over a national ad campaign by the DNC/Other left leaning organizations in the run up to these mid-terms to both 1) re-energize the base and GOTV and 2) remind everyone why this election is so important.
A few points that I believe the DNC should hammer leading up to Nov 7th:
- make an ad with audio sharing tens/hundreds of DT's unstable and divisive remarks while emphasizing the need for Checks and Balances. DT has praised Kim Jong Un, floated ideas of using nuclear weapons, bragged about shooting people and not losing voters, ran to the side of white supremacists in VA, insulting McCain, and on and on and on. We have to remind voters that DT is insane and divisive.
- make an ad focusing on the struggles and efforts minorities went through to strengthen their right to vote, re-emphasizing John Lewis' remarks about his tribulations during the civil rights era. And focus on re-introduced efforts to suppress voter registration in places like North Dakota and Georgia.
- make an ad stressing the failures of this administration over the last two years, including but not limited to an $800B deficit this past year during significant economic expansion, tearing families apart and using children as pawns in states on the southern border, trade wars impact and the subsequent farming subsidies attempting to help those that are impacted, jobs growth less than that of Obama's during his last two years, the complete lack of movement for infrastructure projects.
We are seeing an increase in DT's, and the GOP Congress', approval ratings lately. WE MUST REMIND THE PUBLIC OF THE CRAP WE'VE HAD TO WADE THROUGH OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS.
