Just voted in Kansas City KS

I moved across the state line from Missouri. . .

Went to vote this morning, it is the first day of advance voting. I went about 11:30, was given a choice of paper ballot or touch screen. While there was no line, it was fairly busy. There seemed to be enough stations and workers to keep things moving along.

It's definitely a minority area, so I was glad to see that.

The only disappointing thing was that, as mentioned on other threads, I saw NO young people. Over 2/3 were definitely senior citizens, and half of them looked 80+.

I also wish I hadn't forgotten to look up who appointed the judges on the ballot ahead of time, I took longer to finish because I wanted to make sure I voted out every one of Brownhole's appointments.

Young people don't traditionally vote consistently, but most were probably busy. bearsfootball516 Oct 2018 #1

If you're talking about the 18-24 demographic, most of them are likely in classes at the time you went. For those a bit older, say 25-35, most of them are likely at work at 11:30 in the morning.
