My only prediction for the midterms: Already Dark Trump is going to get darker and uglier by Election Day. Much darker and uglier. And every GOPer who doesn't speak out or quit the party is complicit.

In the past, so much focus on "national" meant that we lost control of our state governorships and state legislatures - right at the time when the 2010 census was due. At that point, they went on a march to having 30+ GOP-controlled states through to this year, which then went about ramming through the draconian ALEC agenda. We have had to spend millions taking that crap to court - stuff like Voter ID, Right to Work, Stand Your Ground, Transvaginal Ultrasounds, 20-week abortion bans, privatization of the schools and elimination of funding to public schools, work requirements for Medicaid, bans on so-called "Sanctuary cities", and on and on.

ALEC Exposed website.

We need to have people in place for the 2020 census, which will in turn have a major inpact in the long-term towards creation of fair Congressional districts. If we can get rid of or at least reduce the gerrymandering, we will definitely maintain control of the House (which has power over the purse strings and carries out oversight).

I live in California, and the ONLY consistent television commercial I've seen has been lying, cheating, ignorant Koch Brother ass-licker Scott Walker from Wisconsin's commercial where he's riding on a train or bus , saying that he's always been for pre-existing, and that as long as he's Governor, the good people in Wisconsin will have it

As Rachel said tonight, it was in Stupid's state of Wisconsin where the lawsuit to get rid of Obamacare/pre-existing started, and that would not have happened unless the Governor of the state of Wisconsin was on-board with it. WALKER, you're the Governor of Wisconsin you lying, hypocritical, gerrymandering, union-busting piece of shit

more he exposes himself as the craven lout he is. Last night was a case in point when he declared to the world:

I am a Nationalist.

He even said it was a descriptor people said he shouldn't use. But in his own impulsive, ignorant way he did it anyway.

What he didn't say, of course, was I am a Nationalist, the way David Duke is a Nationalist, the way Hitler and Mussolini and Franco were Nationalists.

But that's the company he's keeping, the company that the GOP is defending and explaining and attempting to excuse.

If you are a Nationalist, you are not for America. You are not for a democratic society. You are not here to defend the Republic of the United States.

If you are a Nationalist, you are a traitor, pure and simple.

So let the Imposter-in-Chief grow as dark and ugly as he desires because he's stripping down to his true unAmerican nature. And anyone defending these statements is as rotten, craven and opportunistic as the Trumpster has been from Day 1.

99% of media is RW corporate owned and widely distributed to the easily distracted, short attention span masses as "news". The 1% merely have to dictate the news cycle they have bought and paid for for each day, and their willing viewers will absorb and repeat any lie they hear often enough via the "news". If you want to resist then you must find alternate ways to spread real information to many, how we will do that once creeping fascism takes over is beyond me.
