GREETings, my lovelies... As you ALL know, HALLOWEEN IS COMING...
And it's time, once again, to submit your nominees for the twelfth year of this proud DU tradition. I'm sure that you can't wait to vote for your favorite evilest of winger or wingers.
As is tradition, the award thread will be posted on Halloween Eve, also know as DEVIL'S NIGHT, right here in GD. I'm sure that some of you are chomping at the bit to SUBMIT the names of your favorite right wing asshole or assholes. Especially since there are so many to choose from. In the years where we've had an abundance of names that were too big for one poll, we had a play-off round poll and a championship round poll to pick the overall winner.
I'd love to see that happen this year as well...
Also, we'll be declaring the recipient of the Fifth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil. Past recipients consisted of Bruce "Dick" Cheney, "Pig Boy" Rush Limbaugh, Karl "Svengali" Rove and Bill "Rapey" O'Reilly.
This year's recipient is none other than Steve "America's Most Racist Congressman" King. So, make sure to submit your seconds and thirds, so that he gets the Golden Dick, if you'd like.
Now dig in deep, dearies, light a candle and get your nominations on, because it's that time of year that we all love...
(Insert creepy laugh here.)

...into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, maybe he'd appreciate this "honor," should it be bestowed upon him.
So, I nominate the worst fucking musician I've ever heard, and the professional asshole/shitbag -- Ted "Crybaby" Nugent.

(50,559 posts)I'd say he deserves some kind of special Most Evil Right Winger Who Ever Lived award.
This year I'm going to nominate Matt Manweller, Washington state representative. He's your standard sexual harasser, and here's a list of his d-baggery courtesy of the Seattle Times:

Now, here's where it gets entertaining. There have been a lot of outcry for this prick to resign his seat. He finally agreed to...ONLY if he wins the November election. The bastard is still trying to get people to vote for him, on grounds that if he wins and resigns the next day while the House is still in session, his replacement will have to be another Republican.
The Kittitas County Republican Party is running a campaign to get people to vote for this dead man walking so as to "save our seat" from the evil King County Democrats.

If that's not the epitome of evil, I don't know what is.

(32,980 posts)This overly ambitious RW tool has never ever gotten over being beaten by Sherrod Brown gor his US Senate seat. Ohio Senators tend to stay till death takes them or they retire.
From his wiki page..."Social issues....
DeWine is opposed to abortion. In the Senate, he was the lead sponsor of the Unborn Victims of Violence Act.[28]
DeWine opposes same-sex marriage[29] and sponsored the Federal Marriage Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which would have prevented same-sex marriage.[30] DeWine argued in the Supreme Court in favor of prohibitions on same-sex marriage, saying that prohibitions on same-sex marriage infringes on "no fundamental right."[31][32] He argued that states should not have to recognize same-sex couples who married in other states.[31] "
Then there is his taking lots of money from a charter school founder only discovering this year that is a problem.
He took lots of money from a major opioid producer as well.
