Dear Far Left, this is why voting for Democrats matter

After the past two days, I really do not know what else can convince you that voting for Democrats IS NOT voting for the lesser of two evils. A vote for Democrats is a vote for sanity. A vote for today's Republicans, or not voting at all, is a vote for pure evil.

I get it. Hillary took money from Goldman Sachs. Booker voted against importing drugs from Canada, but those are policy differences. Trump's Republican party believes in killing it opponents and critics.

We've had this argument since 2000, and today should end it once and for all.

Vote for Democrats or you are just as evil as the Republicans.

--On Edit---

This post is directed to those on the far left who actively promote NOT voting for ANY Democrat, and yes, they do exist. See for example, Jimmy Dore's Youtube channel. He even attacked Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for her support of Cuomo. The far left actively tries to depress voter turnout for Democrats.

2. One of the 2 major party candidates will win

We have a 2 party system and will for the foreseeable future. Do you vote for the candidate you agree with 90% of the time, or the one you agree with 0% of the time? Voting 3rd party, or staying home, is a vote for the one you agree with 0%.
Somehow people leaning right can see that, but a lot of us can’t.

Do you want to see the party that believes in killing its opponents and critics in power?

Plenty of “far leftists” voted for Hillary Clinton, for instance.

I will not, as a result, make general statements about “centrists.”

A unicorn can be candy-striped colored, if you can find a unicorn at all. When it comes to voting, one of two candidates will win 99% of the time (occasionally an Indy has appeal enough to win). That 99% of the time? Either the Democrat or republican will be elected, anyone who can't see that and vote accordingly is a damed fool. The OP got it correct, rightwing voters see the choice clearly, but we have people that have their heads shoved up their asses and who vote stupidly.

12. "far left actively tries to depress voter turnout for Democrats" is a bad generalization.

It's no more useful that saying "centrists vote for Trump." Yes, there are centrists who voted for Trump, and, yes, there were "far leftists" who didn't vote for Clinton.

The statement "far leftists who don't vote for Democrats actively tries to depress voter turnout for Democrats" would have been very different from the one that was actually made.

I am voting for Democrats in this election, as I presume all posters on this thread are - I'm glad we have unity on that.

9. You have an aggressive but treatable cancer. Do you go with no treatment at all and die

for sure within the next six months, or do you opt for treatment that is unpleasant and has side effects, but has a very good chance of giving you a normal life expectancy? Sure, you can wait around hoping for the perfect, side-effect-free treatment to come along just in the nick of time, and there is a infinitesimally small chance that could happen. But in all likelihood, choosing not to choose means you have six months left.

and when it will certainly be one or the other will do what they can to make sure that the worst evil does not prevail. Ignoring that is what helped to give us the Trump Regime after which America will never truly be the same as it once was.
