What conscience? Flake is nothing more than a mealy-mouthed enabler. His presence as a member of the GOP caucus has not made one iota of difference as far as Trump and his policies go. Despite all the hand-wringing, his "R" status and dependability to fall in line with party over country has suited McConnell and Trump just fine.
