I'm from N.Y. loved the dodgers when I was a kid.

Moved out to Cali in 78.. Nice Job opportunity! from NYC.
never got that involved with L.A, Teams except when Magic and co. brought down the Celtics.

I never hated the Red Sox.. You know what? The Dodgers just were not in the same class as the Red Sox..
Simple as that!

My Yankees were a pretty damned good team but the Red Sox were head and shoulders above them.

At the end of the season, the Red Sox were so far ahead that they mailed in the last series with the Yankees. That got the Yankees playoff hopes up, only to have them crushed.

I did expect the Astros to put up a better fight than they did, though.

Not too many of their best players. They're going to retain their core for next year.

Kimbrel, Pomeranz, Pearce, Kelly, Phillips, Kinsler and Eovaldi are up for new contracts. Most of them will walk, I bet. Boston's biggest concern will be their closer, either they resign Kimbrel or find someone else to fill that role.
