Can we not be distracted by this bullshit about birthright citizenship ... it's a DESPERATE

attempt to say something so outrageous that the horrific tragedy in Pittsburgh will get swept from the news-cycle.

TRUMP ALWAYS PULLS THIS SHIT when the news is looking bad for him, says he's gonna do something outrageous (which is OBVIOUSLY never going to happen, typically, as here) in an attempt to control the news cycle.

How about we f***ing IGNORE his tricks, for once?

He can't do this, neither can Graham.

Period.

First off, the people who agree with Trump on this are already diehards who will vote GOP next week.

But anytime the narrative is "Trump vs the Constitution" we win. Especially with independents.

I hope we spend all day talking about how Trump wants to eliminate a Constitutional Amendment by fiat.

So many in the media are hanging on his every word, his every tweet ... dude is a master manipulator, I'll give him that ... but it just gets SO FRIGGIN' TIRESOME dealing with just one purposefully generated Trump Outrage after another.

C'mon ... he's driving all of us DU'ers ... about at least 1/2 insane ...

At some point, we (the still-semi-sane part of the country) need to start ignoring it when he pulls this obvious manipulative BS.

Or at the very least, both The Media and Dems, should respond to it by laughing, basically ... "Oh, look, isn't that cute? Lil' Donnie is out to distract everyone again ... this time espousing fantasies about how he's so powerful he can amend the US Constitution by Executive Order!"

If we (and the media) keep taking this crap seriously, and giving him the attention he so craves, every time ... no IMPORTANT stories will ever get the traction they truly need to get.

This is a distraction from his crazies ... murdering and attempting to murder.

The media needs to start ridiculing Trump when he does this crap, and then just moving back to covering whatever it was ... he was trying to distract them from, which was almost surely 'bad news' for him.

The GOP has been shedding all of its last remaining people of conscience since Trump took over. Their own polling is showing that's a problem. Moderate Conservatives are staying home. Its been clear for a while know they are staying home. so they're running up the racist fear mongering to shake up and drive as many people to the polls they can.

They know the Midterms is going to be crazy and they aren't confident despite all the advantages the GOP has. They have gerrymandering in their favor in all the states they won in 2010. They have less seats to defend than the Democrats, and most of the Senate seats this year are in red states. Despite all this, the Democrats are poised to win when, on paper, it shouldn't be this close.
