(19,326 posts)that he is being so publicly "out-scrooged" by Ryan's actually GIVING this
book to his staff, interns, and to only Gawd knows how many other fools.
When interviewed by The Onion about his grievances, the Ghost of Mr. Scrooge
claimed he was being "mind-fucked" by the Rmoney campaign ... .after all, this
"horrifically symbolic giving gesture" by Ryan undercuts the core message of
Ayn Rand i.e. that there's no free lunch, we are all on our own, greedy to the
end, giving no quarter to those collectivists who lust for community and are
constantly GIVING things away for free.
These DC book-grabbing staffers have jobs, and should damn well pay the FULL
PRICE for each and every book ... cuz if Ryan won't do this, he's clearly not
selfish enough to be a good Republican VP.
"How can any true American --as Ryan claims to be-- simply GIVE something
away? Especially something of such immense value as Atlas Shrugged."
