Has Mueller Subpoenaed the President? (Politico, 10/31)

This is a MUST read.

-----

If Mueller were going to subpoena the president – and there’s every reason why a careful and thorough prosecutor would want the central figure on the record on critical questions regarding his knowledge and intent – this is just the way we would expect him to do so. Quietly, expeditiously, and refusing to waste the lull in public action demanded by the midterm elections. It all fits.

Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow messages re Politico story on possible Mueller secret subpoena, saying, “ The report in Politico is completely false. There has been no subpoena issued and there is no litigation.”

2. We'll see.

From the cited story :

Politico asked many of the known attorneys for Mueller witnesses – including Jay Sekulow, another Trump lawyer – and every one denied knowledge of the identity of the witness. (What, of course, would we expect a lawyer to say when asked about a proceeding the court has ordered sealed?)

So he is also on record that he doesn't know the identity of the witness, which is also almost certainly false.

3. Pretty damned convincing...

Jack McCoy couldn't have done better with this lol!

Methinks Mueller has all the cats and all the rats in the bag, (with a block of potassium for good measure) and all that's left is to wait for the midterms to be decided before he tosses the whole shebang into the potamac...I'm NOT advocating cruelty toward real cats OR real rats...or real potassium, I suppose ..it's a metaphor.

But yeah. It's gonna be a good show hahahah
