I hope I can use them tomorrow night. Not quite the same, but it's a start (Hillary Clinton champagne glasses)!

It was the worst (political) night of my life.
PS - not wasting money on champagne this year, I'll be drinking beer out of them!

(12,590 posts)My daughter-in-law sent them with the idea that once the election was called we'd raise our glasses to the first woman president, an historical marker.
Sadly, that didn't happen.
But you reminded me that the glasses are in my cabinet. I'll wash them up tomorrow and prepare for a celebratory evening, honoring all our Democratic women & men who have worked so hard to correct the massive mistake that was 2016.
