(15,771 posts)working 2 jobs with no break between and a meeting till 7:30 tonight... I plan on screeching out of the parking lot and getting it done on the way home. Good thing I live rurally and don't have to worry about lines...

(36,631 posts)My wife and I just got back from voting. Small, rural place, no troubles parking, no long lines (time of day chosen for that), sign in, get the paper ballot, fill it in, turn it in, done.
No citizen should have to squeeze voting into a work day. No citizen should have to fight through deliberate obstacles to vote.
Take care -- 2 jobs is draining.

(15,771 posts)I got lucky, I get a break between jobs for a hour or so ...I got to come home, eat lunch and stop by the polling place on my way to the next job, Shouldn't take more than 10 mins here too...
(yes 2 jobs sucks, but it's the price I pay for living in a beautiful place
)
