If you're in a contested area, PLEASE do whatever you can ...

... last minute to G O T f'ing V!!

I voted in Alabama - West Mobile - this morning, and drove by 5 other locations on my way downtown.

Crowds appeared to be VERY heavy at every precinct. That's probably NOT a good thing here. These are heavily republican areas, and I was hoping to see small crowds. Our mid-town area is a little more purple, and turnout at the one location I drove by there was also heavy.

The anecdotal lesson here is that the Trumplodytes may also be coming out to vote.

If you're where it really matters today, please go vote, and take a couple of friends. It's going to be closer than we might hope.

Both Dems and Repub turnout is up. Dems are up more overall, but in very red areas, there may not be enough Dems to catch up.

... make it up where it will matter. Bad news for our down ballot races, though. And that sucks because we have some great Dems running for state and local offices here.
