House or Senate?
Its a wash when it comes to legislation because you need both to pass bills...
But I would rather stop judges then investigate. Its not like the investigations will go anywhere anyway since there is no way that the senate will vote guilty

(51,857 posts)1. Agree. But can one hope that senators will see the changes
And will think before they just do what he wants?

Celebrate the win of the House tonight. We never expected to win the Senate in 2018.
Investigations are public theater and do find facts. Yes they will go somewhere.
Nobody was expecting to elect a Senate in 2018 that would, as of now, vote tRump guilty. But the House investigations may reveal stuff that Mueller has yet to release his report on (if tRump doesn't block him) and that stuff might be dynamite enough to convince R Senators to vote guilty.
House also controls the budget.
