surely we can find 2k votes that have not yet been counted. Anyone who mailed in their ballot should check to make sure it was counted, last year my brother's (who I mailed in with my own) was not counted - very strange since he was voting different from how he was registered - which is why I checked, I didn't want them to accidentally "lose" his vote, and sure enough....

I had to call and make sure that he could go and vote in person and not be told he was trying to vote twice. It seemed very fishy to me. It happened to me in 2012 too - they told me I could not vote. I had to involve the OFA attorneys in that one.

Nancy Pelosi, right now, is our minority leader, come January she should be voted in as Speaker of the House, since we are now the majority. Currently Steny Hoyer is House whip, all I am saying is that I don't think he should move up to majority leader, I think we need new blood, someone from the Black caucus. Next we will need to vote on a House Whip, and I feel we need a young fighter in that position.

I'm not overturning any apple cart. Democrats will have to vote on Speaker, House majority leader and House Whip. All I am doing is leaving out Steny Hoyer, nice guy, but just not my choice.

Come January the gloves must come off. The only thing Trump and the Republicans understand is power. When Obama was elected President in 2008 he said he
wanted the past to be past and not drag Republicans from the prior administration in front committees. He wanted to work in a bipartisan fashion with the opposition. What did that give us...a free hand to the Republicans to oppose him at every opportunity. Those days are over. I heard people on MSNBC say the Democrats in the house should be careful and not overplay their hands regarding investigations or subpoenas, I say bring it. Drag everyone in front of committees. I can guarantee the Democrats will take less time than the Republicans took on Benghazi and they will get results and referrals for prosecution. Whatever hand we are Given we as Democrats we have to play it to the fullest and not buckle under criticism or fight each other. This is our time, let’s support our house members and get it done!
