Nancy Pelosi's post-election press conference message: WE WILL FOCUS ON THE MIDDLE CLASS ISSUES.

Gotta say, it's good. She says Dems will deliver for the American people on the middle class bread and butter issues.

She is CORRECT and SPOT ON. See this:

I’d say exactly what she just said after the midterms.

The investigations are going to be devastating to Trump because they are going to be public hearings and lots of Trump’s associates ratting him out.

Let the information get out there and then talk about impeachment.

He is a security nightmare because he is compromised by Russia, the Saudis and god knows who else.

He has obstructed justice on a regular basis and he’s using the office to enrich himself.

He violates his oath of office every time he attacks the press.

Grounds won’t be an issue.

It all depends on if this news breaks through the right wing echo chamber and bubba wakes up and smells the treason.

I am very pleased with Pelosi's message. However, she is also, fair or unfair, a polarizing figure nationally. Is it time for a change? She has been in leadership for a LONG time.

She's effective, and she doesn't give a shit what the Republicans think of her.

How about changing from bumper stickers to supporting your premise with objective numbers and evidence?

Nothing personal, but fortune cookies and t-shit slogans are pretty damned meaningless

She's been in leadership a long time and she is a woman. She has been demonized by the GOP and GOP controlled media. Just like Hillary Clinton.

Replace her and then you can expect her replacement to be demonized in the same way.

even before he lost when he ran against her. And the fact that she has been in leadership for a long time speaks to her experience. The question Rice & Ryan can't answer to others is if not her who. Also, the reason she has been the focus of so much negativity is because the Cons don't want her in a leadership position and have been trying to get rid of her. Ryan, Mr. Corporatist, and the others are only giving the Cons what they want.

The middle class issues protect/help people's lives. While the investigation is needed to protect our government. That's why we need both.

And maybe we can leverage the intensity of the investigation with support for some of the legislation we want to pass. Such a deal may be the only way to get 45's attention. Let's deal with him the way the Russians do.

When we've got people one missed paycheck away from bankruptcy or homelessness AND millionaires with mansionS both calling themselves "middle class", we've got a problem.

Race and gender are social constructs as well but they don't played around with as much... but class is this cranked up to 11. Republicans defined whoever benefits from their tax cuts as "middle class" even if they were wealthy.
