I think many years ago, I saw the world in black and white, and I felt that the rest of the rainbow took away from our gains. I have grown since then. I celebrate every win of every color as if it was my own.

It's not totally true, in that there are a few POC and women in Congress before this wave, but it just got much, much better.

Makes me think of the opening sequence of Wizard of Oz after the landing of Dorothy's house in Munchkin land.
