Ann Romney reminds me of Barbara Bush

who I despise.

I just watched the segment on LO. A couple of times. She has had wealth and privilege for so long her contempt for the rest of us oozes out of her. She's the kind of woman others dis on but in her case she gets a pass because of her illness (and I think she should for that reason).

Problem is, they cannot have her on the air very often. She's not helping.

I honestly don't how she is making it. Stress is especially debilitating with MS. I have to give credit where credit is due and she must have as much control over herself as she has over her horse.

I don't know why it is that so many in the news/pundit class say how lovely and charming she is. She is like Barbara Bush - terse, tight, "oozing with contempt" (like you suggest) for those who dare ask questions.

If I had watched it sans sound, the dialogue could have been:

"Sit down... You did not hang the clothes in my closet correctly, there was a wrinkle on the collar of my shirt.. and dinner last night was sub par...and no you cannot have next Friday off"

She's pro choice. Most Republican wives won't admit it. She's intelligent and I think has character, for a political wife. I like Nancy Reagan, too.

Bush had a sort of grandmotherly vibe about her that was a nice breath of fresh air from Nancy Reagan and her designer clothes.

Have similar outlook on "those people.". I can imagine Anne saying "I'm Done With You." like Babs said to Al Franken.
