when they're on top?
Because the so-called liberal media has been the conservative press all along.

(4,441 posts)I didn't make any comparison like that, so I would appreciate it if you didn't do it for me.
"Where I was going with this" is that the media expects Democrats to "reach out" or acquiesce to the right side of the aisle, but tell Democrats that "elections have consequences" when Democrats lose.
If there are examples of the conservative press asking members of the Republic party how THEY will "reach across the aisle" when they are in control, I am certain it is FAR outnumbered by the other scenario.

(10,113 posts)is mostly just the media. There are left leaning and right leaning, but most are just the media.
Baltimike
(4,441 posts)Because the idea that they don't lean or even spread propaganda is a myth

(10,113 posts)Didn't I say this? "There are left leaning and right leaning". Did I ever say they don't lean? Dont strawman me.

(4,441 posts)The media is largely conservative masquerading around like they are liberal. And I don't reference reporters specifically, I am saying that the powers that insist on "the middle" regardless of where the facts are.
You can't claim the moral high ground while you're standing on a heap of bullshit, and you can't claim that "we meet in the middle" when one side is just lying.
Eko
(10,113 posts)I never claimed that we meet in the middle at all. Why do you keep doing that?
