a little irony with my tea this morning

i watch rachel maddow while getting ready for work. this morning (last night's show) she is slamming the republicans generally and romney quite a lot - it's a good show

so far of the two commercials i listened to, both were romney commercials.

just paying the bills and i doubt if she has any control over it. in the past i've been sickened by oil company commercials on her show many times. just a bit...ironic don't you agree?

Rachel Maddow's no dummy. If she really objected to Romney ads, she probably could squawk about them. I guess she figures so long as they don't mess with the editorial content, all's well.

the ads are probably only running on your cable system and not nationally.

but i tend to agree with you both - she's happy to be in control of the content of her show and the advertising is not up to her.

If, say, a Romney ad about medicare runs right after its lies have been exposed, the ad is a double-fail - it fails in its message, it emphasizes that the campaign is lying.

certainly for me. his voice bothers me slightly less than gw's or cheney's, but it still makes me sick.

vs national. So what you may see on your local cable broadcast of Rachael is not necessarily what others may see for theirs. And the candidates have so far targeted certain states (including swing states) for their ads.
