We were working so hard and such messed up shifts... my mattress was cold hard steel and my blanket was exhaustion... and I slept so soundly... 
They are working so hard... because they are patriots and they care...

Cannons firing and all that... Some of the best sleeps I had was during those times...
I don't think I ever slept like that before...
