If you believe Christ, you vote Democratic. I am looking forward to Sherrod running in 2020. There may be others, but he is tapping the roots of what we are about.

I was lucky enough to meet him and talk to him, albeit briefly.

I wish I could vote for him!

Can you imagine the debates? Delicious.

And I like Cory Booker as VP.

He has consistently shot down rumors in the past (mainly because his wife said that if he ever ran for President, she'd divorce him). But that has all changed in the last day or so. His wife is the one who has given him the green light to look into it.

That's cool that you got to meet him, Peggy. He's actually from my hometown (he mentions Mansfield in his speech--that's where I'm from, but I live in Columbus now). While I've never met him myself, my dad and his mom worked together. And I've said for years that if he ever decided to run for President, I'd be willing to work for his campaign. That's how much I believe in him. So I hope he decides to do it.

This is the first I've heard that bit of news, and I'm happy to hear it.

He would be so damn good! Thoughtful, intelligent, compassionate, experienced!

Hey, if he runs, I'll contribute!

Sherrod Brown IS born to run................for PRESIDENT!!!

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if he decides to run, not only will he win, he'll win HUGE. He's the perfect candidate to run against Trump because he appeals to a wide array of voters, he's true to his liberal roots, and he's not afraid to drop the gloves and slug it out when he needs to. I guarantee that if Trump wants a fight, Sherrod Brown will give it to him.

I don't know who would be the perfect running mate for him, but off the top of my head, I think a Sherrod Brown/Beto ticket might be darn near unstoppable.

I am so happy to have Sherrod as our senator. I am also afraid with the current political climate in Ohio that should he move on we may not get another Democratic senator for a while. To put it in perspective, the prevailing thought from some in the GOP is that Rob Portman isn't conservative enough. Hard to believe this is the same state that once had the senate 1 - 2 punch in John Glenn and Howard Metzenbaum.
