We strongly support and call on all members of the Democratic caucus to support @NancyPelosi for Speaker. Were it not for her skilled and effective leadership, the ACA would not be law today. Dems must reject attempts to defeat her and move caucus to the right

(42,862 posts)One more thing: Republicans ran against Pelosi this year and had their worst loss since Watergate.

(43,366 posts)The constituents of the #fivewhiteguys and other anti-Pelosi Democrats should be inundating them with calls, emails and faxes. Why are they trying to hurt the new Democratic majority in the House?

(52,147 posts)Nancy told a reporter that most of the names that signed the letter calling for a new leader were men and she was hesitant to bring up the gender issue too. It is glaringly obvious.
mcar
(43,366 posts)She is not supported by Republicans, Dotard and a bunch of elected Democrats who don't seem to know why.

(17,498 posts)So good to hear. Let some of our new congress critters get some experience in committees and then they can think about being Speaker of the House.

(15,684 posts)Perhaps you could make it an OP so we can. Not to mention, for the exposure it deserves.

(304,419 posts)Glad you saw it! I'm in and out so much out here on the Island that mostly I'm not around very long to post OPs.. and my network connection keeps going off in me in the middle of posting.
Control-Z
(15,684 posts)That's enough to drive a person nutty, having your connection go in and out. I have what should be reliable internet service but it's terrible. Not as bad as what yours sounds like but compared to what I had before I moved. And it makes me want to pull my hair out. I feel for you.

(304,419 posts)stellar Nancy endorsements.. they just kept coming!
Thank You, Celerity

(36,378 posts)Do those endorsements stack up against five spineless blobs of generic mayonnaise*?

(304,419 posts)cracking me up! I haven't read Wonkette in awhile. It's so Awesome that all these really Cool Peeps are supporting Nancy.. like we just know through years of experience she'd be the best
Think I'll just c/p some nuggets here..
Okay!

Priceless! Thank You, Hermit!

(36,378 posts)I check wonkette when things make me want to smash furniture. That part about Schumer, IMO, just highlights how there might be a bit of sexism at play here. Hey, it exists somewhere, I'm told.
The Repugs are desperate to keep the gavel out of Pelosi's hand. Did you see the thread unroll explaining that attempt to contrive conflict between Nancy and Ocasio-Cortez?

I think that is finally getting more attention than the misinformation about a "protest". Not much chance M$M will try to undo their rush to judgment, though.
It was a relief to see this OP and the one "Indivisible endorses Nancy Pelosi for Speaker":

All this stuff interconnects!

(304,419 posts)2nd time I read it just now. Stephen Robinson is a genius the way it makes this shite funny!

That's true.. my Blue Dog Congressman, Michael Arcuri, District 24, in New York lost his seat after he voted for ACA(Healthcare!). In the big Hate Machine 2010.. courtesy of rw and purity stay-at-homers.
Obamacare still popular.. Nancy helped get it in and now she can help protect it. Funny Ol World!
Hermit-The-Prog
(36,378 posts)I hadn't seen any other writing by Robinson. He seems to 'get it'!
There's not enough said about those who risked, and lost, their seats for taking a stand for US. May they find reward in their accomplishment or a new seat at the table if they seek it.
Cha
(304,419 posts)about this. I had forgotten until Stephen Robinson brought it to my attention in his tweet.
That's another thing the rw tried to take down with their millions of $$$ Hate Machine.. AHC/Obamacare.. just like Nancy.

(11,885 posts)Not allowing others to divide the Democrats will win. Remember how divided some were when Obama was President , and all the things lost because of it. Pelosi better get these malcontents whipped int shape quickly or this will happen again.
