Meaningless factoid: Alex Smith and his backup Colt McCoy both played with Kap in SF.

and just so sad. Watching 60 minutes and Tim Green was on, an X NFL defense player who now has ALS. I’m really starting to hate the slow mo video of hits on the NFL playing field. Hate it......

...33 years apart. I watched it happen to Theismann--it was pretty gruesome.

Also watched it happened to Kevin Ware in the NCAA tournament in 2013. Yecch. Hope I cdon't see any more of those.

Type of breaks. This is career ending most likely. We don't need to turn this into a Kapernick fantasy.

Plus, for the record, Kap is done. He's skinny, his shoulder surgery has not been properly rehabbed, and he was a RO quarterback.

He will never play in the NFL again

By which I mean he was on the sidelines. Today, coincidentally, is the 33rd anniversary of the Theisman injury. I saw it on TV a that time, and really could be happy if I never saw it again.

MNF, Lawrence Taylor did it.

Was horrible. All the talk at school the next day for us on the football team.

with an interception on Houston’s 27. Once a star at the University of Texas and considered a possible quarterback of the future for the Cleveland Browns, the 32-year-old McCoy has been the Redskins’ emergency option at quarterback since he played five games in the team’s lost season of 2014.'

Dan Snyder (Washington's owner) is a serious winger.

Then there is the better question: is Kap in anything resembling playing shape?

He's skinny, out of shape, has an un rehabbed surgery repair. Plus he's now an old Read-Option quarterback.

He's done.
