Dairy farmers to Trump: We need more subsidies

Dairy farmers sent Donald Trump a letter telling him that the subsidies he gave them are not enough to make up for the money they have lost as a result of the trade war:

The dairy industry has been particularly critical of the program and, in a letter to Mr. Perdue, asked the administration to rethink how it calculates subsidies and to make them more generous to dairy farmers. The milk federation expects dairy farmers to lose $1.5 billion from the tariffs in the second half of this year and it has received only $127 million in aid.

Maybe farmers should start voting for Democrats.

Even their music glorifies that lifestyle, making it sound attractive. Why don't they get a real job that doesn't wait around for handouts?

it's not like they didn't know.

States like Iowa benefit massively from trade and they go and vote for a xenophobe.

But lot of republican signs. I live in WI farm country and they support Trump like he is the second coming. It drives me crazy, the farmers will vote for Trump no matter what. Why, he protects their guns. The right has convinced them that the left wants their guns for hunting. Thank God, we are getting rid of Walker.
