Seth Abramson posts a link to an expose of secret yacht meeting in Seychelles.

The story is from March. I don't know if it has been seen here. Seth posted the link today after seeing it on reddit.

The secret summit on the Red Sea took place towards the end of King Salman’s first year in power, when his son MBS was only deputy crown prince.

His chief obstacle to the Saudi throne lay in the form of his elder cousin Mohammed bin Nayef, who was crown prince and a favourite of Washington’s security establishment. MBS would become crown prince in June 2017, only after his father deposed Bin Nayef.

In 2016, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz with then Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (AFP)

Trump had only announced his candidacy months before in June 2015 when the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was leading in all the polls. She was thought by the Saudis and Emiratis to be more likely to ring fence the nuclear deal Barack Obama made with Iran, and to be generally more sceptical of their plans for a push back in the region.

Significantly, these Arab leaders decided in late 2015 that a wildcard presidential candidate in the shape of Trump could be the key to their plans to become the new regional hegemons.

According to federal court records seen by Newsweek, Nader was convicted of bringing child pornography into the US from Germany.

This was in addition to a conviction on 10 counts of sexually abusing underage boys in the Czech Republic for which he served one year in prison in 2003.

Despite this criminal history, Nader was actively used by Trump. He attended a meeting with Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, and Steve Bannon, his chief political strategists at Trump Tower in New York in December 2016.

A month later Nader, Erik Prince, the former head of Blackwater, and a Russian banker all attended a meeting in the Seychelles with Bin Zayed crown prince of Abu Dhabi

If proven true, this gets really tangled.

Russia isn't exactly a fan of the Saudi's and vice versa, but from the looks of things;

The Saudi's provided the money for the Trump campaign and Russia provided the hacking.

So what we could be seeing is, Putin catches on that the Saudi's are funding Trump. Of which he has Kompromat on and owe's him "bigly". But he also knows Trump is a useful idiot and then orders the FSB to set up an operation to help Trump. From what I read, Putin never expected Trump to win, but, figured Clinton would be damaged enough she would be forced to deal with domestic issues in her first term and get the focus off of international. But the FSB did their job well...and got Trump elected.

So....the Saudi's get the US to back out of the Iran deal...but doesn't have the desired effect in Europe, but get to run amok in the ME as much as they want. But Putin gets a truck load of egg on the credibility of the US face....even getting the EU to contemplate an EU Military that could render NATO useless.

One more point, if the Saudi's are indeed involved, it could be the reason Putin isn't too worried about being implicated and losing some "face" on the world stage.

This could be a lot more complicated than first thought.

and promote just some select positive issues [not the whole 'table of contents' promoted by some, scattering/wasting media attention unproductively];

and keep trump wrongdoings in the media spotlight with more material every day, [which Dems can do effectively], - justice may be done.

This would go a long way towards explaining the comparative neutrality of 2018 Russia versus 2016, which for me is an unaddressed question we are not asking.

Prior to the election (2018) we all had enough concern on what Russia was going to try an pull off. In the end, they didn't do much if anything and we haven't addressed that. They are letting Trump hang himself...which also works to their advantage.

In this case, it seems the Saudi's are trying to keep him around....well, at least around long enough. The US turns a blind eye to a lot of what Saudi Arabia does both domestically and foreign. But they know they can't cross some lines under normal circumstances, but this isn't normal circumstances, this is their time to do things without repercussions.

Russia on the other hand, has already reaped its "profits". It's driven a long term wedge between the EU and the USA. Diminished our credibility in honoring treaties, commitments, trade agreements, etc. Changed the trade dynamics of the USA and China for a long time, they are pivoting to Russia, EU, African nations, South and Central American countries.
