Democrats threatening to upend Pelosi's House Speaker bid. And they're working with Republicans

These Democrats are working with Republicans to possibly block Pelosi’s House Speaker bid
Blue Dog Democrats and the House Problem Solvers Caucus make up the newest opposition from Pelosi's right.

Now another group of moderate Democrats is threatening to upend Pelosi’s House Speaker bid. And they’re working with Republicans to do it.

The House Problem Solvers Caucus, a bipartisan collection of lawmakers that reportedly has solved very few problems since its creation, is refusing to back Pelosi unless she adopts their proposed rule changes.

The Problem Solvers have billed the proposals as “breaking the gridlock” of Congress, but CNN notes the rules changes would “empower rank-and-file members to push bills in the House, a power now reserved for the leadership.”

Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ripped the Problem Solvers’ proposed “GOP-friendly rules that will hamstring healthcare efforts from the get-go.”

As The Intercept’s Ryan Grim pointed out, the House Problem Solvers Caucus is backed by No Labels, an “aggressively centrist” political action group that has been called “the most useless force in American politics.”

Were rolling out some change. The gop lost the election. Elections have consequences and Hillary can breathe a sigh of relief that her own Congress isn't going to put her in jail. Nancy P is the Speaker for me!

and their first step to doing this is to cause a big problem by creating gridlock unless their specific demands are met.

Not exactly leading by example are they.

The "No Labels" charade was started about 15 years ago by republicans running away from the "republican" and "GOP" attribution because of GWB.

I'm not concern trolling here. The blue dogs and so called solutions caucus members are trying to put a stop to anything that might strengthen our party.

Who's Really Leading the Democratic Rebellion Against Pelosi?

.... ... ideology is not driving this campaign, and this is no populist rebellion. In fact, its leaders have no discernible ideology at all.
That’s how corporate money rolls in the Democratic Party. It lays low, hides its true colors, and pretends it only wants to “get things done.”

The anti-Pelosi insurgency is not a movement. It’s a cabal, orchestrated by the appropriately hashtagged #FiveWhiteGuys, a group of self-self-interested players with big money behind them. ....

...vague on the issues, big on cliches and platitudes, ... is the hallmark of “centrism,” the billionaire-funded political faction that serves its financial backers by selling themselves as “non-ideological,” “technocratic” architects of “bipartisan” consensus who can “break the gridlock” and “solve problems.”

For this crowd, “solving problems” always winds up meaning the same thing: cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and an unwarranted obsession with the federal deficit that always—just accidentally, mind you!—winds up helping corporations and the billionaire class. ....

...claims to be “above parties and partisanship”—which, in the end, is another way of saying it’s free of any principles except the interests of its paymasters. It often comes in the guise of patriotism, as when Seth Moulton says he places “country over party”—a comment that, implicitly, is a deep insult to those who believe one party’s proposals would serve the country better than the other’s.

The anti-Pelosi campaign is being supported by one of the mainstays of the corporate centrist world—the cynical political ploy known as “No Labels,” which I wrote about in 2012, and its creation, the “Problem Solvers Caucus.” ... a guaranteed-employment plan for Republican and Democratic political hacks, ... ....

a diehard fan of Nancy Pelosi, but the notion of someone calling themselves a “Democrat” and trying to work with the Re-thuglicans is nauseating and rage inducing. After all that these people have done to our country, it borders on treason to try to ally with them to usurp the leading contender for the Speakership (and one, which, while I have my differences with, is admittedly an effective leader at moving things throught the House). We won the House back, due to hard work of so many; let’s not throw that hard-earned victory away by immediately cow-towing to the enemy. And anyone who prefers that enemy to someone with solid Democratic credentials is a Quisling, Benedict Arnold traitor.

If they throw tantrums and act like a 3 year old, give them a time out until they start working FOR the people of the United States. As far as i am concerned..... these people are bad.
