.My comment: If you want to beat a sitting U.S. senator, you had better start very early. Dr. London has done just that, and to beat Collins she will need as much support as possible. She seems very highly qualified to beat Collins and become a U.S. Senator. But she is going to need lots of money to beat Collins. It would be a great win for our side.

You want to win, you got to start early, and Dr. London is starting early, very early..
......Obama announced 21 months before the 2008 November election. February 10, 2007.

So, Dr. London has done the correct thing. She can beat Collins, because Collins cannot be counted on...ever..But Dr. London will need enormous amounts of money for this election. The Republicans do not want to lose the Senate too.

9. Dr. London has TONS of bad baggage. Was reprimanded BIGTIME by the state board of medicine for all

kinds of shit with all kinds of sanctions. Never gonna fly. No worries. There will be other candidates. Also, Collins may not even run again.

There was a huge amount of money crowd funded to unseat Susan because of her Kavanaugh vote. I imagine it would go to this woman, should she chose to run.

AUGUSTA – A doctor who plans to challenge Republican Sen. Susan Collins in 2020 has been reprimanded by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.

The board announced it’s entering into a consent decree with Dr. Cathleen London that places her on probation and prohibits her from prescribing the opioid addiction treatment drug methadone. She’s also required to pay $3,000 in investigation costs.

London, who has a practice in Milbridge, faced nine complaints from 2016 and 2017 of violating patient confidentiality, inappropriate interactions with patients, and inappropriate prescribing of controlled substances, among others.

Her attorney didn’t immediately respond to a message.

In July, London announced she would run against Collins but didn’t say whether she’d run as an independent or with the backing of a party.

8. Yes, there are some SERIOUS issues. Read the PPH news report on it. A deal breaker. WAY too much.

She would get killed in a general election with all this baggage. Has been BIGTIME reprimanded by the state board of medicine for numerous violations and has had to complete many things to keep her license including extra training and even a psychiatric eval and treatment.

Mainers would NEVER accept her because of this.

We will have better candidates to go for that seat, trust me.
