Just for grins and giggles.....who pays for this? Is it out of tax dollars or does the First Family pay for it? And why the overkill? Do the decorations have to be over the top? I suppose some people (maybe many people?) go over the top in their home Christmas decor so why not at the White House? But I can think of better ways to spend the money and still have a nicely decorated White House.

Personally, I think the red cone shaped things (they aren’t trees) look more like a department store display than home decor.

It's just a general diss on ladies. The context was obviously derogatory. Menstruation is just a fact of life for women, so I don't like the context of how the word was used... makes it seem like a negative thing and it shouldn't be. Plus, there are a lot of women that are very sensitive about their menstrual cycles because of issues they've had with them through out their lives. This was better not said I think.
