German government joins Holland in formally supporting an EU wide Magnitsky Act.

Great to see Germany getting behind this. Ireland should have brought in their version before now, so with Germany taking this up, there's a good chance we will see EU wide progress on this. With the UK potentially leaving the EU, Ireland is an obvious target for Russian money and I would be concerned the Irish government would be happy to take that money coming in, and say nothing. It is no coincidence that the Russians are planning to build a new Embassy that is way out of proportion to the number of Russians in the country.
