...Republican powers that be will have to decide if they want to change or just be satisfied with Senate seats, House seats, governorships, state legislatures, etc.

If we can put a stop to gerrymandering and voter suppression, control of the US House will no longer be in play. They can keep control of the US Senate in play for a long time to come (there are a lot of states that will remain deep red). But once that's the only federal-level body they can possibly cling to (and even that will be a struggle), the Republican Party will change or be replaced.

Particularly notablre is that this program advocates destruction of the GOP as an organization. From a social systems perspective, success would necessarily include destruction of its subsystemic elements, e.g., NRA, Federalist Society, Americans for Prosperity, Liberty U., Family Leader, etc., for starters. A concerted effort to erode and destroy these corollary entities whose existence synergizes the GOP is fundamental. To borrow a phrase from their own Grover Norquist (where the fuck is he??), "STARVE THE BEAST."
