Will the coup de grace come tomorrow?

Last edited Fri Nov 30, 2018, 03:40 AM - Edit history (1)

If so, what might it look like?

ETA: I don't mean the end, I mean the first really, really big damning piece of evidence.

I'd put my money on Sater pleading guilty to something tomorrow.

the best possible coup de grace would be simultaneous indictments of Junior, Eric, Ivanka, and Jared with details of Dotard's involvement -- including facts which constitute state crimes -- in the criminal complaints.

It's not going to happen like that though.

Trump may order Whitaker to execute a "Saturday Night Massacre II" and simply fire Mueller and pause the investigation tomorrow or Saturday. The 60% that oppose him will be outraged, but the 40% that support him will applaud. He will then put a lackey in Mueller's place to destroy the evidence, back out whatever potential indictments they can, and whitewash the report. Meanwhile, Trump pardons Manafort, Stone, and Corsi.

IMO, because the DOJ upper levels are telling Whitaker that there are 18 state attorneys general who are suing to block Whitaker's legitimacy, and they are telling Whitaker to wait for the court ruling before assuming AG responsibilities. That's because if the court rules that Whitaker is illegitimate, then EVERY decision he makes is illegitimate and has to be redone. So perhaps Whitaker is not assuming responsibilities right now. That's my guess.

If Mueller's course thus far is any indicator, there is a lot more under wraps and it won't all come at once.

It's also obvious that Trump has been steadily lying to his own legal team, otherwise they wouldn't have arranged for him to submit to written questions and answers and certainly wouldn't have limited those questions to the Russian matter rather than Comey.

more than one vector of dangerous, too -- Mueller and scandals and indictments and trials and possible prison time on one side, vs. spontaneously falling out a Moscow window or ingesting poison or getting shot in a dark parking lot on the other. "president" Donald J. Trump has saved his harshest curse for his own family and he doesn't know it, and even if he did know it he wouldn't care. what a strange set of circumstances has unfolded across the planet, the most dystopian of nightmare scenarios.
