The Hill:A Dutch court on Monday ruled against a 69-year-old mans request to legally change his age to be 20 years younger.
Emile Ratelband, a motivational speaker, made international headlines when he filed a legal request last month to change his age to 49.
Mr. Ratelband is at liberty to feel 20 years younger than his real age and to act accordingly, Arnhem court said in a statement.
But amending his date of birth would cause 20 years of records to vanish from the register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships, the court added. This would have a variety of undesirable legal and societal implications.

His only objective was to gain publicity and it worked probably better than he dreamed it would.

Gray hair comes slowly. You can't change time. On the other hand, my wife said a couple of days ago, "I wish I could change my age to 65 so I can go on Medicare." She'll just have to wait three years, I guess.

I understand your wife's wish. Getting on Medicare is a stress-reliever all by itself. Hopefully, we'll get Medicare-for-all, but probably not before your wife's 65th birthday.
