*Zowie*!1 - Meegan McCAIN just (verbally) attacked Joy BEHAR!1 *Update/VIDEO*

The hosts were each saying stuff about Poppy BUSH, then Joy got her turn and I think was adding something maybe not flattering. I had tuned out while the Poppy stuff got going so I didn't hear what Joy said, but then Meegan popped in angrily saying, "We're talking about a president" his death or something" and berated her for whatever she said. Joy was a bit off balance at the sprung vehemence but recovered enough to say she was talking, don't interrupt, adding something "interesting" - and the McCAIN said, yelling and in her face, "We don't *CARE* what's interesting to you!!!!!!!!!!" And Whoopi cut away to commercial, with the camera lingering on both of them leaning across the table at each other and Joy pointing her finger at McCAIN.

They're back from commercial, camera to Sunny to say her piece, with Joy later joining in as normal.

***********ON EDIT: (Stepping into it) - about Meegan. Yeah yeah everybody feels whatever in their own way, so it was striking this morning that the BUSH granddaughters were on Today being bubbly and "CELEBRATING" (their word) the life, while we went through a month of Meegan's legubrious lording. Yeah yeah, everybody's own way of whatever is still telling of their emotional intelligence, SO SAY I!1

*****************EDIT #2 - The *VIDEO* thanks to W_HAMILTON, post #11******

And Joy flipped out, pointing her finger at her saying, something like you don't ask things like that (and more).

4. The DL would call it debate

and the how part would be with discriminating awareness and logical and cogent arguments based on observation, experience, and effectiveness. He would ask in regards to trying to persuade people to a point of view, "How effective was that anger thing?"

6. Well, I would engage DL in "debate" and respond that anger is as natural as anything else

and everything that exists, animate or inanimate, occupies its own reality and right-to-exist and has its appropriate time and place to express itself.

That said, "winning" up against the DL is fairly much futile - not fair!1

So you (not DL) are in the Religion group. What *is* it about that Cooking & Baking one?!1 -----------Joking, am *JOKING*!1

I'm not "religious" in the conventional Christian sense. I consider Buddhism to be a practise, not a religion. and yes, there are ways to use the energy of anger, which is very sharp, hot, and clear, to effect a positive and beneficial outcome. But few people know how to do that. Mostly people flash anger to act out some story line or other to aggressively push a subjective point of view. That way is what I consider to be poison, because it is unmindful, without skill, ineffective, and just creates a dichotomy of resistance. IMHO

note here that you are making a distinction of a particular *type* of anger. And I say again that any of the other (emotions?) could be subdivided into a whole outline of shades, which could then be baptized with "acceptable" or "unacceptable" manifestations. Metaphysics?

Whew - well, *this* has been fun!1 (Hope it's done!1) Haha

Negative emotions are what keeps people stuck in suffering. However they can be transformed into aspects of enlightened mind. If you're interested in knowing more, you can google "klesha."

I know the teeny bit about Buddhism, like about taoism, stoicism, just enough to not hurt my brain, whatever, know that bits from here and there can be utilitarian/therapy cynically to relieve conditions. I do it in spots, but hate that cynical approach, like when I hear some say they use classical music to relax.

Thanks again, but I'll pass!1

She and Megan feed off one another it seems. And the whole irritable vibe is amped up.

I happen to be glad there’s a show where women argue politics rather than talk about celebrities and shill for products. They piss me off-including Joy Behar, even when I agree with her-but I know people who would never see any political discussions otherwise see it and see women argue for their opinions. I get a bellyful sometimes but I’m glad it’s there.

I haven't seen Behar that animated before. McCain needs to shut up -- it's not her place to try to quiet fellow co-hosts just because she doesn't want to hear what they are saying.
