2. Strong symbolism...

It could mean the layers of corruption or the fact that lawyers are hiring their own lawyers.

It could also represent that more than one generation of the Trump family is going to the big house.

I like to think that the Veep will be implicated with the Cabinet, Sessions, McConnell and Ryan. To be fair, I should include Nunes and Hannity.

That would fill Gitmo, giving Trump that wall he always wanted. BTW, is Gitmo at risk when the oceans rise because of 45's ignorance on climate science? (More layers)

5. She paid a very high compliment to Lawrence

When she said that she wouldn't want to be the defense lawyer who had to argue against Lawrence's opening statement of tonight's broadcast because it was so compelling.

It gave me a rush of goosebumps on my arms.

Love her pins every day! They're always a keen perception of events.

6. He really has been speaking out and I agree, that's a major compliment

Coming from her. And she's a valuable guest so her support of Lawrence counts, in case he's ever criticized.

10. He's exactly what we need right now - he not only speaks out, but he has the experience

To back it up. And I remember that - it was ridiculous and scary. We need him now more than ever, I hope his ratings speak for themselves...

...whether Congress attempts to impeach Trump. We simply cannot say - by not impeaching out of fear we won't get a conviction - that a president can do whatever the hell he/she wants to do. All because we can't trust Republicans to do the right thing. How convenient for Republicans, right? They get to eschew ethics so as to avoid facing the consequences of eschewing ethics.

Besides, I don't think a failed attempt to convict would backfire on Democrats. Those drawing comparisons to a president who lied about having an affair need to stop with such foolishness.

Something else Lawrence did is criticize the media in a way that Democrats need to emulate. We've allowed "liberal media" to become a household term over the last several decades. Being on the defensive is not a winning position. The fact of the matter is the media is worthy of criticism. If for no other reason than the penchant for false equivalencies.

8. Trump, the media and Eric Boehlert

I always tune in to Stephanie Miller's Monday morning segment with Eric Boehlert to hear his take of the mainstream media's most recent performance relating especially to Trump vs their take on Democrats. Weekly, he bursts any gathering myth that there's a liberal mainstream media.

Being worthy of criticism is the half of it. The other half is that imo we have an obligation to support the few straight forward reporting outlets available as best we can. Sometimes an important thing to do is to change the channel. The nice thing is that it's effective and free.
