@realDonaldTrump
Doug Wead, a truly great presidential historian, had a wonderful take on a very beautiful moment in history, the funeral service today of President Bush. Doug was able to brilliantly cover some very important and interesting periods of time! @LouDobbs

(3,479 posts)"Beautiful" is one of the handful of adjectives this moron uses incessantly, regardless of context. "Brilliant" is another common Trump adjective, and "truly great" is classic generic Trump praise.
I'm still waiting to be "beautifully covered" by Trump's healthcare plan.

(130,538 posts)randomly-capitalized letters. But of course he, or whoever wrote the tweet for him, is praising right-wing hack Doug Wead, the author of "Came of Thorns, the inside story of Hillary Clinton's failed campaign and Donald Trump's winning strategy" which is an anti-Clinton hatchet job.

Translation: Wead isnt widely considered a prominent or truly great historian and he upset the Bush family for a series of surreptitious recordings he made of George W. Bush but Im okay dredging up all of this on the day that the country honored the late George H.W. Bush. https://t.co/HgahN4Niyz

(37,513 posts)snip..."He served as special assistant to U.S. president George H. W. Bush, and has been credited with coining the phrase "compassionate conservative".[2] Between 1997 and 2000, Wead secretly recorded several hours of phone conversations between himself and George W. Bush, without Bush's knowledge.
Early life and education Edit
Wead was born in Muncie, Indiana. He attended Riley High School, in South Bend, Indiana, then graduated from Canyonville Christian Academy, a private boarding school in Canyonville, Oregon, in 1964.[3] He also attended, but did not graduate from Central Bible College, in Springfield, Missouri.[4] In 1990 Wead won an honorary degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[5]"
That is NOT an historian.
