The only people that can prevent justice at this time is the US Senate.

Since a sitting President cannot be indicted, even for a felony, Donald Trump is safe so long as he can sit in the White House.

The only thing that could bring justice is if 20 Republican Senators were to vote "Yes" to convict in an impeachment trial.

Then, the former President would be subject to the same laws as everyone else and would be facing a prison sentence for his crimes.

The individuals holding justice are in the US Senate.

or someone else (since I really do not know how this all works) can pressure McConnell. They have to know by now who is also playing this game with Trump and/or what they have done to allow this to continue. Enough pressure and promises to do what they need and ought to do might be enough?

4. The way things are now, McConnell is more powerful than the president.

He forced two extreme right wing judges onto the Supreme Court and can hold up conviction of trump by not allowing an impeachment hearings onto the Senate floor.

It might become a moot point though if it turns out turtleman is complicit in the Russian collusion as well.
