Your premise is not true everywhere. Please donít assume that the most retrograde state laws are universal.

3. I think a case could be made that restricting the right to vote

means no more paying taxes until it is restored. No taxation without representation. What the hell is this? 18th Century England? Didn't we fight a revolution over this?
