If one wants to retweet something, great, do it on twitter. Just echoing a tweet here, in my opinion, is dumb. If you don't have something to say about it, leave it on twitter, where people who want to see idiotic, artificially short chunks of thoughts can see it. If you want to discuss a tweet, fine, post it and add commentary.

In your opinion, it's dumb. Duly noted.

I don't report to you.

I think I covered everything. Look, if you don't like what I post here, and it violates the terms of service, you can send an alert and ask to have the thread removed. If it doesn't violate the TOS and you simply don't like what I post, put me on your ignore list.

It's that simple.

"Have a nice day."

But apparently not important enough to have anything to say about the tweet, so for all anyone knows, this OP is to spread the gospel of Trump. It could be in favor of it, or in derision of it - without comment, no one knows.

Have a nice life.

What I object to is simply reposting content without the apparent ability to add anything to it.

If one has nothing to say, saying nothing might be the prudent thing to do.

I’ve watched someone post important news on Twitter (reporters and other live tweeters at events for example), have it show up here a few minutes later by which time huge amounts of info has been gathered and shared there, and a half hour later hit cable news. By then I know far more about it and can hear the conversation with a better grasp of everything. It’s fascinating to see and be part of.

I find the entire concept ridiculous. Artificially shortened messages seem to me to be a contrived constraint, akin to requiring communication only in the form of limericks. I will admit there are good limericks, but they are vastly outweigh be crappy limericks.

You don't need to defend twitter. My opinion is that it is silly, YMMV.

People who fill threads on an OP about a tweet with endless complaints about the fact the OP has a tweet in it.

It's not as if the OP's content could have come as much of a surprise, given the title.

If your secondary gripe is that there's no commentary on the tweet, then that undercuts your dismissal of Twitter as a concept: "The food was terrible - and such small helpings!"

What a waste of everybody's time and energy.

If you're not interested or don't like it, why not do what any number of us do on any number of OPs we end up not being interested in and don't click on them if it's evident they're Twitter-based in the first place, or if you've clicked in and been disappointed, just click out and get on with your day and leave others who just might be interested in having a discussion about the content of the OP get on with theirs?

Seriously, just block me. I post Trump's tweets, so if you block me, you won't see any more of my threads that are "just Trump's tweets."

I think he's a disgrace, but I also want to know what he's thinking. I can't help you with the other "20%" of the threads that upset you, but get off to a good start by blocking me.

Mueller has only begun. Hidden in those black, redacted paragraphs are the real causes for concern for Trump. We already have a hint of what is to come with the Trump Tower Moscow project, but there is probably much more.

Trump is probably right that campaign finance felonies alone won't bring him down, nor "process crimes" such as lying to the FBI or perjury in this crazy new world. But with a little patience we shall soon see what Mueller has in his bag.

Then again, his audience of racist buffoons doesn't really need convincing; they already think that any nugget of shit that falls from their orange god's lips is nectar from heaven, and that any statement even slightly criticizing their bloated racist deity is blasphemy.
