I.e. working in their respective Houses.

Because I find neither of them the least bit inspiring when placed before the cameras.

That's just me ...

What did you require from them to be inspired today? Was it not enough that Individual-1 was goaded to say he would proudly shut down the government?

I mean so Trump can't step on her. Her voice is a bit quiet and halting; I wish she could shout that mofo down!

And even if she did, he'd STILL step on her. And then we'd just have two people yelling.

By somebody on our side who can match or exceed his decibles, not yield to Trump's "Excuse me!" but rather do the same back to him, but louder.

Like "No, YOU'RE out of order!!

I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that to him.

Bullies, like Trump, don't do nuance or subtlity. Sometimes they need a dose of their own blustery belligerent behavior mirrored back to them. Imho

Yelling at him is a waste of time. And it also lowers her to his level.

She doesn't need to yell or turn herself into a bellower like him. That's not what or who she is. She made her point eloquently and fully in keeping with who she is.

Funny, no one is saying that he should start speaking softer and more respectfully. It is others - especially women - who are supposed to change how they engage in order to be given credit.

This is Nancy's time, her whole life has been building just for this moment. NO ONE else in DC will stand up to Trump, but she will happily eat his lunch, step by step, in public, for the world and his squirming supporters to witness.
