Tulsi Gabbard on election meddling: Why is it all we hear about is Russia?

The US has meddled in other countries and so has China in Australia. That summarizes what Tulsi Gabbard had to say in March this year about Russian interference in the 2016 elections during Congressional hearings.

It is difficult to say with limited context, what Gabbard's point was. Caliman73 Dec 2018 #10

Tulsi is my Congressperson. I’ve met her, been on Conference calls with, and support her. Taking a portion of a quote just because of bias against her is ridiculous.

How’s that?

If she is asking why China and other countries who are also trying to influence our elections, are not investigated with the same vigor as Russia, then she has a point. If she is saying that Russia should not be a focus of scrutiny then she is out to lunch. Without proper context it is hard to say.

Ultimately, Russia is being looked at in 2016 because they appear by all evidence to have had willing partners from within the GOP and the Green Party who helped them influence the election.
