"Nancy! Nancy! Listen to me, Honey"

Except, unlike the White House man baby, this kid is adorable - and will grow up.

But how great would it have been if Nancy had given him a pow pow on his butt?

An earthquake in Tennessee woke me up at 4-something, so I was watching 11th hour saying Nancy got what she came for, to brand it as "the Trump shutdown" over the wall. Trump not only so obligingly fell into that trap by declaring he'd do it proudly but provided the cameras so he could do it on national TV.

Brian Williams joked that Schumer did everything short of a fist pump as Trump threatened and exposed his shocking idiocy for the whole nation. (The MSNBC cameras at least were on him at that point as he smiled and nodded, yes, yes, YES!, yes, at the floor.)

Btw, reportedly discussions between Nancy and Trump resumed by phone some later, presumably minus Trump's bombast for his base but no doubt just as full of clueless frustration.

my spouse felt it (he's a light sleeper). We are an hour or so north of Atlanta. Said he felt the bed shake and the lamp rattled noisily. He didn't know what it was until I turned on First Look on MSNBC. I slept through it.

give warning, but I was actually mostly awake already and instead heard our house give a little crack sound as the shaking began, which it didn't do when that last EQ hit in TN. We're from California and knew just what they both were.

Guessing somewhere your mind was wondering if you needed to wake up then decided nah when the shaking stopped in a handful of seconds.
