That's only a slight exaggeration.

Explaining your rejection of Julian would help.

You're gonna sound racist until you explain what Beto has that Julian doesn't. Even if you voted for Obama 5 times.

Beto O'Rourke has proven himself to be a great campaigner. He has the "it" factor like Obama, Kennedy, and Clinton.

Every time we run a charismatic candidate we win. Every time we run a candidate who lacks charisma we don't. Maybe that isn't fair but it's true. In that vein Cory Booker has a better chance than Julian Castro.

I just don't think he is one to beat Trump or what we need at this time.

As mayor of San Antonio he was more of a figure head and really doesn't have a lot of governing involved. As the head of HUD I really can't think of anything that stood out that he did.

He would be better to run for Governor or against Cornyn than run for President. This has nothing to do with Beto just an independent observation of Julian overall.

Joaquin is a completely different story he has accomplished much more in my view than his brother. Julian is a nice guy but he can help the Democratic party overall in other ways.

But I know he's been planning a run for a while.

He might surprise if he really steps up. Otherwise, I could see him as a good Veep or a cabinet official.

He has a path to victory, and he's one of only two men I'd vote for in a primary.
