(24,644 posts)why you deem Al Franken as unpresidential material?

(86 posts)I'm not sure how you run for President of the United States from there.

(24,486 posts)And if you are saying Harris/Franken in '24, does that mean that Clinton would not run again or that there wouldn't even be a Democratic candidate elected in 2020?

(24,486 posts)Because if Clinton had won an electoral victory while losing the popular vote to Trump you wouldn't hear a peep of complaint about it here.

(23,024 posts)My little fantasy includes the 2016 election being corrected in some as yet unknown way.

(24,486 posts)But we can rest easy knowing that no Democratic candidate, from a presidential one down, has ever cheated to win any election.

(36,631 posts)There has never been an election in U.S. history with the perfect storm of interference, foreign and domestic, coupled with a 30 year propaganda campaign like 2016.
Blaming Hillary for the electoral loss flies in the face of all known facts.

(24,486 posts)Which is why I don't, but had she bothered to campaign at least once here in Wisconsin in the general election campaign it might have helped here.

(36,631 posts)How about Julian Castro for VP?

(86 posts)Although he was not my first choice, it made much sense.
1. He is a very respected member of the Senate.
2. He would have been prepared to be POTUS on day one.
3. He tempered Hillary Clinton's progressive ideology, and would have been a wonderful sounding board and counsel for more moderate leaning Democrats.
