(32,265 posts)Trump is convinced that he is a god and he gets to decide what is the right thing. If you are blaming his disastrous Presidency on his age, you are admitting that he is unfit for the job.

(10,297 posts)I'm so glad that Christie is sitting on the sidelines instead of installed in a gov't job, with authority of employees and private citizens.

(58,724 posts)Young people with strong political opinions are extremely passionate about their beliefs and tend to feel quite certain that they are doing the right thing to the point that it is very hard to convince them otherwise.

(43,049 posts)Trump's problems have little to do with age.
Anyone who dealt with him or remembers him over the years knows him as a shifty failure who has managed to cleverly bullshit his way out of most of the trouble he's caused.
Those days are over now-- he can't walk away from his failures or mistakes any more.

(21,204 posts)That he used to make informed decisions. He NEVER has. He's always been my way or the highway, and when things blow up, he blames someone else.
