Nate Silver's bizarre Twitter behavior continues

According to Nate silver, voters will re-elect Donald Trump because a group not officially affiliated with the Democratic Party wants Mueller to arrest Trump:

I think silver should stick to adding and multiplying.

Nate silver thanks Russian interference was not important. And he has a bone to pick with those who believe in Russian interference was important in 2016

For those paying attention, Mueller doesn't arrest people. Russian poseur Twitter accounts, however, would like for you to believe that he does and that he oughta get on with it RIGHT NOW.

Every time someone follows or retweets one of these goofball twits, a Deplorable gets his wings.

Nate says that the huge Russian disinformation and hacking campaign didn't cost Hillary the Presidency, but you say that a few Twitter Democrats calling for Trump's arrest did cost her the presidency.
Zero political scientists have made your argument.

I don't follow Silver, so was unaware that he was arguing that Russian disinformation didn't impact the 2016 election. If he's now inexplicably implying that it did, I would agree that this tweet is "bizarre". Apparently, his devotees seem to think that this is simply a joke. Whatever. I don't do personality cult shit, so I really don't care about this internecine battle being waged.

However, crap like the retweeted post from this inane account, begun early and accumulating throughout the campaign, absolutely did influence the outcome of the election. And yes, plenty of political scientists agree with me.

n.b.: I doubt that Trump will be running in 2020 anyway. I don't doubt that there is already a well-coordinated Russian campaign to, once again, disrupt the next election regardless of the candidates involved.
