Kennedy Center Honors......

on CBS now.....Cher is being honored now.....loved the whole show. AND SO DAMN GLAD THE ORANGE BLOB ISN’T THERE. Nancy Pelosi is where the President and First Lady would sit.

During the Hamilton song One Last Time, I thought that the camera panned to soon-to-be-ex senator Jeff Flake in the audience? While George Washington sang "teach 'em how to say goodbye"?

If so, the irony was thick on the ground!

Last year a couple of the honorees indicated they wouldn't show up if Trump was present, so he recused himself. Would be hard to find any entertainer to honor if they knew they'd have to interact with the orange blob. Just as well he doesn't interject his sorry ass into the proceedings.

...I'm glad the Kennedy Center honors jazz musicians, despite the (relative) unpopularity of jazz as a music these days. It shows it's taking its responsibilities seriously...

She is phenomenal . Renee Fleming ain't shabby either.
